Services Overview

The YDPN offers a variety of individuals, organizations, and companies a variety of customizable services to meet your needs. Our talented and astute staff work with you to find the right service for the right outcome. Our focus is your development and growth.

We believe in leveraging our services to support the youth worker community at-large. To accomplish this aim, we connect clients to our vast network of individuals, organizations and businesses, and we use the Creative Commons Attribution Non-Commercial Share Alike License to govern all documents (e.g. training curriculum, action plans, meeting notes, etc.) created or altered during our work together. 

Prices

We charge between $100 to $150 per hour for our services. The minimum contract is $500 (between three to five hours).

Payment

We work with you to find the means to afford our services. We encourage clients to collaborate with one another to bundle and purchase our services. We support bartering (e.g. paying staff to work on one of our steering committees, food for our free events, donations of professional services, etc.) as a means of payment. Have another idea on how to pay, just ask. 

Exploration Session

We request anyone who is interested in purchasing our services set up a free-of-charge Exploration Session. During this session, we explore your presenting need and find ways to create a collaborative and innovative solution. Intrapersonal Services

A Day of… Workshops are arts-based explorations of rejuvenation, self-care, values, and/or personal advocacy that bring people together to reflect, learn and grow (3-hour workshop minimum, 4 hours prep required, TOTAL = 7 hours). These Days can be brought to your organization, community, place of worship, business, or school and are an excellent opportunity to both explore this topic and contribute to the further development of this service.

 Sustainable Self-Care Consulting bridges the work-life divide by working with organizations to create structures and systems that promote the self-care of its workers (2-hour exploration session required, TOTAL = variable). Our Consulting empowers organizations to think creatively and with innovation on supporting and empowering the healing of its workers. It is our belief that through the healing of youth workers, we heal our youth and communities. Role models of healing provide inspiration to others. And organizations that actively promote rejuvenation and self-care will change our communities and world!

Values Coaching is one-on-one support empowering individuals to place personal core values front and center in work, life, education, and career (8-week session minimum, 1 hour per session, TOTAL = 8 hours). Working one-on-one provides us the opportunity to deeply delve into youth worker's lives and help them strike a balance between work, life, education, and career through the exploration, clarification, and demonstration of personal core values. 

People  Services

Community Events bring youth, youth workers, organizations and businesses together to create events that inspire hope and celebrate the community (6-month commitment minimum, TOTAL = varied by event). Let us bring our brand of collaboration and resource sharing to your community by working with you and other community members to produce an event that meets all collaborative members' needs. We have a unique approach that is sure to bring abundance, gratitude, and inspiration.

Professional Services

Peer Networking Sessions provide participants an opportunity to connect and explore a specific topic with each other in an equal exchange (2-hour session minimum, 3 hours prep required, TOTAL = 5 hours). Working together, we help clients identify a topic they want to know more about and provide a two hour session that brings out the brightest and best ideas of the participants.

Community Conversations bring together stakeholders to answer organizational questions through appreciative inquiry resulting in a collaborative action plan (3-month commitment minimum, TOTAL = approx. 50-80 hours ). The goal of Community Conversations is to work together, connect resources, and empower collective accountability to help our client achieve community-centered results.

Custom Youth Development Training Events bring the best of YDPN’s peer-education model to build the skills and competencies of youth workers in a team environment (4-hour training minimum, 6 hours prep required, TOTAL = 10 hours). We will work with you to design custom training events that meet your workers developmental needs. We build on our community connections to bring you the best and most up-to-date education possible using our innovative YDPN Process and peer model.

Professional Development Coaching is focused one-on-one support that refines and hones youth workers current knowledge and skills (2-hour session minimum, TOTAL = 2 or more hours). Additionally, we make finding resources easy. Through this process, we empower clients to continue developing their skills and explore new ideas after we leave.
