OverviewA Day of Rejuvenation and Self-Care is a three-hour low-cost replicable exploration of the value of rejuvenation and self-care in sustaining our lives. Participants will explore these values using walking meditation, small group conversations, and art-based workshops culminating in the creation of a personal self-care plan. Additionally, participants will walk away with a copy of the curriculum, so they can lead these Days in their communities. HistoryThe YDPN has been hosting Days of Rejuvenation and Self Care for over two years. Previously, our partnership with the San Francisco Buddhist Center and Niroga Institute helped provide the expertise to lead workshops focused on meditation, values exploration, and yoga. Kica Gazmuri was instrumental in inspiring this concept and creating connections to other organizations that provided resources to make these Days possible. Now, the YDPN is working to transfer what we learned during these days into a workshop youth workers can do in their communities and with other youth, adults, and youth workers.
